ALL WITHIN THE HEART

The process of victory over temptation and sin in your Christian walk...

#1...How are we tempted?

James 1:14 ...But each one is tempted when, by his own evil desires,
he is dragged away and enticed...

Temptation is not an external force, brought against you by the devil,
but and external process, revealing to you what's in your heart...

#2...Where do evil desires reside?

Romans 7:20...Now if I do what I do not want to do, It is no
longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it...

Romans 7:14-25 explain the war between the flesh and the Spirit...
The evil desires within, reside in our fallen flesh and mind...

#3...The solution

1st John 1:9...If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to
 forgive our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness...

#4...Walking out 1st John 1:9...

(A)...Anytime and evil thought enters your mind, no matter what it is, repent of it...

(B)...Acknowledge it as sin before God confess it
to Him and ask that He forgive and cleanse you...

(C)At that moment, the thought is taken captive, (2nd Corinthians 10:5) and is removed.

(D)...Immediately, God's peace and forgiveness overtakes you! The sin within,
the temptation, and any hidden darkness you're unaware of, are completely dealt with...

As Pual says in 2nd Corinthians 12:10...When I am weak, then am I strong..."
In our weakness, we repent to God, and are instanly filled with HISstrength!!!

#5...God's purpose in this process...

TOTAL DEPENDENCE ON HIM

If you are to have a victorious walk in Christ
you are daily dependent upon God in repentance for victory...

You could not save yourself, and you can not keep yourself!

Our Father in Heaven has created a mechanism of dependence in you for a very good reason...

HE LOVES YOU!

God's desire to be with you is so total,
that you have to come before his throne everyday to succeed!

#6...The Final Thing...

Romans 8:1...Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus...

DON'T BE CONDEMNED...BE CLEANSED!!!
